What has your experience been like as a student in Ontario? What needs to change to make our schools safer, more inclusive, and welcoming for everyone?
Join us on Monday, October 19, from 9 – 10 am for a virtual youth consultation with Marit Stiles, Leader of the Ontario NDP and Official Opposition, and MPP Peggy Sattler, to discuss the proposed legislation to combat Islamophobia and racism in education.
This small group consultation will bring together invited Muslim high school, college, and university students from across Ontario to share their experiences and perspectives.
This is an opportunity to learn about the proposed Combating Islamophobia and Hatred in Education bill, provide feedback on its post-secondary provisions, and contribute to our collective efforts to create safer and more inclusive learning environments across Ontario.
